Managing Assets

Add and track your assets including bank accounts, investments, and property.

What Are Assets?

Updating Asset Values

Unlike debts which change with each payment, asset values may fluctuate based on market conditions or appraisals. You can update asset values:

  • Manually by editing the account

  • Automatically via bank connection (for bank and investment accounts)

  • Periodically for property (we recommend quarterly for real estate)

Asset Tracking Best Practices

  • Focus on significant assets that impact your net worth

  • Update investment values at least monthly

  • Be conservative with property estimates

  • Do not track small personal items unless valuable
