Payment Tracking
Track your debt payments and monitor your progress toward becoming debt-free.
Logging Payments
After making a payment to any of your debts, log it in BeDebtFree to keep your plan accurate. Navigate to the debt and click Log Payment, then enter:
Payment amount
Payment date
Optional notes
How Payments Are Applied
When you log a payment, BeDebtFree automatically:
Updates your debt balance
Recalculates your debt-free date
Updates your interest savings projection
Adjusts your payoff plan for remaining debts
Payment History
View your complete payment history for each debt by clicking on the debt and scrolling to the Payment History section. You can see all logged payments including dates, amounts, and any notes you added.
Editing and Deleting Payments
Made a mistake? You can edit or delete any payment from the payment history. Click on the payment you want to modify and choose Edit or Delete. Your balance and projections will automatically update.
Payment Reminders
Never miss a payment by setting up reminders. BeDebtFree can send you notifications before your payment due dates to help you stay on track with your payoff plan.
